The installation location should be protected from sunlight, freezing; pollution and water drown for easy and installation and removing.


Pay attention to freeze-proofing, it is suggested to protect the meter and water pipe with heat preservation materials if the environment is less than 0C to prevent its freezing and keep the battery working.


Valves before and after the smart meter shall be closed when the smart meter has been installed but not to be formally used or not be used for more than one week.


It's recommend to have upstream length 10 times of nominal diameter inlet straight pipe and 5times of nominal diameter outlet straight pipe.


Water flow should be in the same direction with the arrow on water meter main case; lf installed horizontally, water meter surface should face right upwards , and it cannot have any deflection from water meter outlet axis.


Flush the water pipe thoroughly to clear all impurities before install the water meter.


The prepaid water meter with valve control and pipeline should be connected by tail piece: sealing gaskets and nuts and coupling. The water meter should not be removed by force to prevent the damage to the water meter body.


The space above the meter should be at least 20 cm to replace battery feasible.
