Precautions for Installing Electromagnetic Water Meter

 

 

It should be installed at the lower and vertical upwards of the horizontal pipe to avoid installation at the highest point and vertical downward of the pipe.


The size of the electromagnetic water meter should be accurate. If there is an error, it may lead to the installation failure or the installation is not strict enough, which may lead to leakage.


The flow direction of the medium fluid must be consistent with the flow arrows on the sensor table.


The electrode axis of the electromagnetic water meter must be approximately horizontal, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected.


The flanges on both sides of the water meter sensor must be parallel and parallel, otherwise leakage is likely to occur.


It must be ensured that the process piping, seals, and water meter coaxial connections cannot be staggered in order to avoid vortex flow after installation.


When installing the water meter, it is strictly forbidden to weld the welding at the flange of the water meter to avoid burning the lining of the water meter.


For different process pipelines, the corresponding grounding method should be used (see sensor grounding).


For corrosive media, it should be installed vertically, and the measured medium flows from bottom to top. This can prevent solid particles from depositing in the water meter pipe, making the lining corrosion uniform and prolonging the service life.
