NWM NPPD is a No-Lead Bronze positive displacement water meter with an oscillation piston capable of both horizontal and vertical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The NPPD bottom load multi-jet water meter complies with AWWA C700 specifications and is listed to both NSF-61 (non-toxic)and NSF 372 (no lead). With optional pulse output(reed switch type), it can be used for remote totalizators and wireless transmitters.

Water flows through the meter's strainer and into the measuring chamber where it drives the piston. The hydro dynamically balanced piston oscillates around a control roller, guided by a division plate, a drive magnet transmits the movement of the piston to a driven magnet located within the hermetically sealed register. The magnet is connected to a gear train which translates the piston rotates into volume totalizators displayed on the register dial face.

 

 

NWM NPPD bottom load multi-jet water meter 5/8 x 3/4 consists of three basic components: No Lead bronze main case, NSF measuring unit, and a super dry copper can register. The precise simple design allows for part interchangeability which reduces parts inventory. The register housing of the water meter 5/8 x 3/4 may be removed without affecting water pressure or the removal of the main case.

 

 

 

Max.Permission Error

● Normal Flow Limits: Within the normal flow rate range, the meter shall register not less than 98.5% and not more than 101.5% of the water actually passed through the meter;

● Low Flow Limits: the meter shall register not less than 95% and not more than 101% of the water actually passed through the meter.
