NWM MJP-SDC is an IMPELLER (turbine) water meter with dry type register for residential applications with sizes from 5/8" to 1-1/2" designed by NWM and meets AWWA C708 standard with NSF-61-G certification.

 

 

Water flows through the meter's strainer (inlet and internal) and into the measuring chamber where it drives the impeller. A driving magnet transmits the movement of the impeller to a driven magnet located within the sealed register. The magnet is connected to a gear train which translates the impeller rotates into volume totalizators displayed on the register dial face.

 

 

NWM MJP-SDC top-loaded American water meter reading consists of three basic components: a main case measuring chamber and a head ring. The main cases of all sizes are constructed from GrivoryGV-5 FWA from EMS.
